Installation Tips for John Deere Tango Robotic Mowers
A perfectly laid cable is the basis for the outstanding cut of your John Deere. Please note the following tips:
- Preparation: Mow the lawn as short as possible before laying. In hard ground, it is recommended to hammer in the ground nails with a rubber mallet.
- Cable routing: Maintain the spacing dimensions exactly according to the John Deere manual. Fix the cable every approx. 60-80 cm with a nail.
- Curves & Corners: In curves, place the hooks at closer intervals (approx. every 20 cm) to ensure smooth cable routing without loops.
- Stone Edges: Lay the cable flush along stone edges. Use additional pegs for perfectly straight routing when edge mowing.
- Safety: Hammer in the ground nails completely until they are flush with the turf. This prevents the Tango from damaging the cable when turning.
